Busy, busy weekend at the Rupp household. Thursday, October 30 trick or treat in our neighborhood. That same night, Mom went to Hanover to perform in the Alumni Marching Band for her high school. Dad took us trick or treating (as you can see in the previous post).
The next morning, it was dress up day at school. It was Mom and Dad's Friday off but Mom drove us in so that we could see the other kids all dressed up too. This is a picture of the kids in my class. From Left to right, you have Lego man (Ben), Tinker Bell (Hailey), Me, Princess Annalise, and Rocky (Kenseth). Jocelyn was missing from this picture because she was having her whiskers applied (she was a kitten).

After finishing the activities at school, we loaded up the camper and headed to Hanover. We camped, for the first time, at Codorus State Park. It was a pretty good weekend for camping and all of the other events that we had planned. The campsite was covered in leaves and we had to clear the pad when we got there. Daddy couldn't see where to back the camper in. We didn't think to bring a rake. So, all of us got out and started shuffling the leaves around with our feet.
We took quite a few walks around the campsite to get oriented. Nathan got the prime seat through most of the walks.

Friday night, we went to the South Western vs. William Penn football game. Mommy was again, performing with the Alumni Band.

There she is..tooting her flute (well, piccolo to be exact).

Granny got to spend some quality time with us. Nathan was so comfortable that he fell asleep in Granny's arms during the game. I was being a little bit grumpy at the time.

On Saturday, it was more play time. Nathan had a blast filling the wagon with leaves. I'll bet that he sat and played in those leaves for at least 15 minutes.

Eventually he started to get worn out. So, he took a rest with Mom. He was really tired (and hungry) because he just stayed slouched over in his chair until lunch was ready.

Poor buddy!

After lunch, it was time for some more fun and games. With this many leaves, who could resist? Mom and Nathan played in the leaves together.

I made a bed.

And then Nathan hugged some trees.

Daddy tried something new while we were out camping this time. He made Rice Krispie treats on the outdoor grill. Surprisingly, they turned out pretty good.

The campground was decorated for the Halloween events that evening. Campers were decorated, trees were decorated, there were lights everywhere and they even had a pet costume judging.

We had a quick dinner on Saturday night because we were off to go trick or treating and then to the band competition. So, hotdogs and party mix it was.

Trick or treating was first. Nathan was having a rough evening. He didn't want Mom to put him down. So, he protested by throwing his bucket and pacifier on the ground. His normal reaction when he is upset or embarrassed is to cover his eyes and pout. This picture shows it perfectly!

On Sunday, we had a dessert social to attend and then we were headed home. It was a long weekend packed with fun things to do.
That is adorable!!! I love the leaves and rice krispie treats <3
