Mega camping blog

Nothing better to start off a camping weekend than with a little hockey.  We always practice safely first and play with our bike helmets on.
Bike riding is a favorite.  Nathan really enjoys riding his bike.
A little posing by the camper is a must.
We introduced paddle ball on this camping trip and it was a hit with Drew.
Drew even taught Grammy a new card game.  He was trying to teach her how to play "garbage".  It was a little tricky to understand in terms of Drew's directions but we eventually caught on.
G.G. Pa and Helen enjoyed the campfire.
After lunch, it was time to give the grown ups a run for their money.  Nathan and Drew both wanted to try and ride their bikes without training wheels.
Drew got the hang of it.
Well, it took him a little while.
This is as close to the Rupp totem pole as we get any more.  Daddy can't wear Nathan like he used to and put Drew on his shoulders at the same time.
Nathan was using the flashlight to look for chipmunks in the holes in the trees.
After taking a few rides on our bikes, we stopped for a picture on the big rock.
The next morning started with a walk over to the beach.
We found this fallen tree and got a Mommy and boys picture.
This is what happens when you give Drew control of the camera and ask him to take a picture of Mom and Dad.  Nathan jumps in the picture and gets all silly.  What you don't see here are the 30 pictures of silly Nathan that Drew took while Mom and Dad worked on getting down off the tree.
Cutie Nathan and Mommy.
Our morning walk was a great opportunity to see wildlife.  We found a frog sunning in the water.
A tadpole lounging in the muck...
A dragonfly flitting by the flower.
Mommy enjoyed sitting on the rock and listening to the water.
Nathan and Drew loved each other for a few poses.
Ooops...Nathan's foot fell in the stream.
Drew enjoyed jumping over the rocks.
He slipped in too!
Our wonderful little family...
Nathan's little legs get tired pretty easily so he takes a few seconds rest in the grass.
The deer trail is a nice quiet trail to walk on in the afternoon.  It's very shady and for the most part is padded by fallen pine needles.
The boys stopped on the trail for a picture.
At the end of our days, they are so tired, they can barely keep their eyes open.
