And it is only 1:00pm. Today Drew went for an Upper GI exam. The exam itself was not nearly as bad as what we thought it would be. They made him drink some yucky white chalky stuff and took x-rays of him swallowing it. His stomach problems turned out to be acid reflux which is good because no surgery is needed. We just need to give him some medicine (I hope it is liquid). Drew was really well behaved for his test and actually was smiling and giggling afterwards.
The next big adventure of the day was Drew starting daycare. Yes, Mommy's "vacation" is over. After the test, we went home and fed Drew. Then Daddy had to pry Mommy off the couch so that we could take him over to daycare. Mommy was upset, not that she was afraid that Drew was not in good hands, but that she could not see him all day. It was not as big of deal for Daddy because he has been working since day 5. So those are Drew's 2 big adventures for today, Daddy gets to go pick up Drew tonight from daycare and see how he was. Maybe he can post how his day was later.
