Happy Independence Day

Mom and Nathan spent the night at Granny's house on July 3. Aunt Veronica was in town and we wanted to spend some time with her. Mom and Veronica hit the town with Kim and Megan while Granny and Nathan hung together.
The next day, Granny held a picnic for the entire family. It was the normal stuff. Lots of family, lots of food, lots of fun and lots of trampoline jumping.

This was Gavin's first time on the tramp. He did pretty good. He was sitting steady and keeping his balance.
Nathan and Gavin were having fun when the bigger kids were jumping. We were careful to watch out for the little ones. Our bouncing provided Gavin and Nathan with a nice ride.
Of course, I had to take a few minutes out just to check on Nathan. I'm pretty protective of my little brother and don't want to see him get hurt.
Like normal, Mom and Nathan spent a lot of time together today. So, they played with the camera a little bit.
Nathan got a chance to play too. He borrowed Granny's camera and tried out his photography skills. Nathan! You have to turn the camera on first. Then, get your fingers out of the way. But, good try.
Present time! I got more presents at Granny's house.
Mom brought my parachute along so that we could try it out again.
Gavin enjoyed splashing around in his inflatable car.
Nathan was happy in the inner tubes and having Mom hold him.
The water balloons were interesting for Nathan. He had never seen those before.
Veronica and I got to share our birthdays. Veronica's birthday isn't until August but we never get to celebrate with her because she lives so far away. Granny didn't have any candles so we got to use sparklers instead.
Cake smash time!!! Veronica got me.
So, I got her back.
There's Nathan with those water balloons again. They were really intriguing to him.
