While we were gone over the weekend, Mom and Dad took the opportunity to celebrate their anniversary. They decided to make reservations to visit the Melting Pot. Before they could go, they posed for some pictures in the front yard.
They both look a little different than they did 8 years ago. Mom isn't so slender and Dad has lost some hair but inside, they're still the same people and have more to love (Me and Nathan)
Anyway, this is what their dessert course at The Melting Pot looked like. They had all of these fun dessert items to dip in the chocolate concoction that was cooking on their table.
Their chocolate had nuts and caramel in it and they both said that it was really good. Dad would like to recreate the mixture at home so that we can all try it.
And last, but not least, here we are. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! We're sure glad that you got married!
