When we arrived in Sanford, Florida, we had to wait a while for our car to come off of the auto train. Nathan decided to steal Daddy's Disney book and do a little reading.
Once we got our car, it was off to the Grand Floridian for a quick lunchtime treat.
These were the desserts that the Grand Floridian had on display but we were so full from what we had at lunch, we didn't get to try any of these.
From the Floridian, we hopped on the monorail and headed for the Magic Kingdom.
There it is! We were excited to be there but we couldn't go in just yet. We were just there to pick up our tickets and then head back to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner.
Animal Kingdom Lodge was beautiful. This is the master bedroom. The headboard was engraved with pictures of Nala and Simba.
The living room was equally as beautiful.
The econd bedroom in our suite had two beds and its own bathroom.
Nathan enjoyed the bathroom in the master suite. He couldn't wait to try out the shower and he doesn't even like showers.
These are a few of the sights from our balcony. The giraffes were nibbling on the trees.
This longhorn (with a hidden Mickey on his side) grazed on the grasses outside.
A view of the other rooms:
Nathan and Kelly waited patiently to get into Sanaa for dinner.
Sanaa serves African food with Indian flavors. While it wasn't our normal type of food, it was good and different.
After dinner, we headed to the Magic Kingdom to meet with Minnie and Mickey.
We took a quick ride on the tea cups and we were spinning so fast that we were dizzy until we got off.
And last, but not least, we viewed the Magic, Memories and You show that is projected onto the castle.
Time to head to bed and get ready for another fabulous day.
