Adventures in sleeping

Mom had a fun time of putting Nathan to bed last night. Since Daddy wasn't there last night, I got to read books with Nathan. After reading books, I went over to my bedroom and picked another one that Mom and I could read together and stayed there until Mom was done laying Nathan down.

Mom eventually came over, read me my book and tucked me in to bed. Not long after that, she was back in Nathan's room because she could hear him talking, singing and playing with toys. She went back in to find toys all over the floor and Nathan playing with them.

She tried to put Nathan back in bed but he wanted his big pillow so that he could lay on the floor. Mom chose her battles well and let Nathan fall asleep on the floor (or so she thought).

After finishing up the dishes and getting everything in order for the next day, she peeked back in on Nathan. There were now more toys on the floor but he was fast asleep next to them.

And, this was the sight of Nathan's play area/bed.

Poor little guy just did not want to go to sleep last night. He tried to fight it for as long as he could but eventually just laid back down on the floor and gave up. Night, night, Nathan!
