Aunt Veronica was a pretty happy camper as well. She purchased her tickets and was ready to roll.
We had a little time to wait. So, naturally Nathan would as for everyone, including Veronica, to "upie" him. Since Veronica doesn't see him too often, she was the gullible one and fell for his cuteness!
After getting through the front gate, Daddy took some great pictures of the castle and Walt. We were on our way to breakfast and had some time to kill so we let Daddy have some fun with his camera.
Our breakfast in the park reservation was for The Plaza - where we would get to eat with Minnie and her friends.
Our whole group got to get their picture taken before breakfast. What a great looking crew!!!
Then, it was inside to take some pictures and eat. Eeyore was first to visit our tables.Dale visited with Granno and Veronica.
Drew and Nathan weren't left out of the fun though.
Pooh bear interrupted our eating of bacon and sausage but we didn't mind.
Daddy and Minnie were a flirtatious pair.
Aunt Veronica and Mommy were very happy to meet Minnie Mouse together. Mommy missed Aunt Veronica so much after not seeing her since April.
For some reason, Daddy was not on Captain Hook's good side. I think he mentioned something about Peter Pan. After breakfast, Nathan was thrilled to find out that he had finally reached the 40 inch mark so that he could get on Star Tours. Congratulations, Nathan. You ate your veggies and are now tall enough for most of the rides!!! Now, let's get a fastpass come back to this one a little later.
Aunt Veronica and Mommy were taking advantage of their time together. Daddy caught this picture of them playing around on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster. Oh, and this is the first time that Mommy beat Daddy on this ride. Mom and Dad often ride this ride together at Disney World to see who gets the higher score. Daddy has always beaten Mommy up until this point. Good going, Mommy!
Another fun adventure that we had today was riding the Matterhorn. Drew loved this ride and his face surely showed it when the ride was over. Mom, Granno and Regi enjoyed the ride as well. Dad wasn't too sure and thought that he might have a few bruises from this one.
C3PO welcomed us all to the StarTours ride. Nathan was more than thrilled to know that he was finally getting to ride this one.
Veronica and Regi did their best to look like they were all business. They were ready to get on the ride for their first time too.
Small World was gorgeous from the outside. Much different from Disney World. The inside of the attraction was neat too because there were Disney characters placed throughout the ride and we had a good time trying to find Cinderella, Ariel, Pinnochio and many others.
We also snagged a great family photo courtesy of Regi. Thanks, Regi. You're the best!
Veronica and Hope...cheesin' it up again for the camera on the Tea Cups.
Nathan and Drew enjoyed the ride as well.
It was getting a little warm so it was great to get a refreshing snack with Aunt Veronica. Mickey ice creams are always a hit under the sun. Messy faces and all...
Peter Pan was hiding in the shade of the castle. He was having fun with Nathan. Nathan didn't want to tell Peter his name so Peter made one up for him. Peter said that Nathan's name was "Pbbbtttt." (The sound made when you stick out your tongue and blow.)
Another first for Nathan was riding Splash Mountain. He loved it and can't stop talking about how fun the ride was. We got a little wet and he was loving it.
The splash definitely cooled us off a bit and we visited Tigger and showed off our wet shirts.
We met Rabbit for the first time too. He was just as cute as he is on the TV show.
Piglet was there as well. How cute is he with these two little guys?
After dinner, we traveled through New Orleans and got our picture taken on this beautiful staircase.
Veronica and Regi had to leave shortly after this and head back to Las Vegas. Veronica had to work the next morning and wanted to get a little rest before she headed in. So, they headed out of the park and we stayed to catch Fantasmic. It was a different show from Disney World and Daddy actually liked this show better. Pinnochio had a feature in the show.
The dragon was much cooler too!!!
It was a wonderful first day but we were glad to get back to the room and rest up for day number 2!

Great blog !lets do it again!
